The 2D / 3D + iFOIL (Hot-Foil) 100% digital UV inkjet coater, both in B2 + (52 × 120) and B1 + (75 × 120) formats, is incorporated into the prestigious JETvarnish 3D digital finishing product offering: the JETvarnish 3D Evolution machine.
JETvarnish 3D Evo is the market's first scalable finishing machine (varnishing, with reservations, 2D / 3D + Hot-FOil 100% digital) in B1 + format, with an upgradeable modular architecture, digital foiling functionality and an upgradeable inkjet expansion system with 3 format options available: 52 × 120 cm (standard) up to 64 × 120 cm and 75 × 120 cm. The production speed of the JETvarnish 3D Evo 75 is over 4,000 sheets in B2 format per hour.
The B1 + format option is designed so that packaging and container printers can print fully customized short, medium and long runs, without the need for expensive tools for packaging applications.
Finished prints on MGI JETvarnish 3D Evo systems can be a unique combination of brand images, text, data and designs using varnish, 3D varnish and foil masks with digital embossing in a single pass.
The JETvarnish 3D Evo press is a high-productivity solution that incorporates an artificial intelligence-based sheet registration system (ARS), automatic inkjet head cleaning, and pallet feeding and stacking systems.
The JETvarnish 3D Evolution (Evo) has been specially designed to offer offset and digital printers a scalable upgrade path for a full range of production environments and postpress applications.
