Almost all types of lithographic presses can be adapted to cold foil application and achieve the amazing effects that can be achieved by overprinting on simple silver foils.<\/p>\n<p>The module can be easily adapted to almost any existing offset press without altering or interfering with the press&#039;s functions or electronics.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Switching from regular printing to cold-foil printing online is as easy as changing a plate on the press.<\/p>\n<p>Cold Foil application consists of applying a metallic layer on a printed substrate. It is basically carried out in 2 steps:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>STEP 1<\/strong> : Apply an adhesive to the substrate. This application can be done in register and according to a print pattern using one of the printing units of the printing company.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"icon-default-style icon-ok extra-color-3\"><\/i><strong>STEP 2<\/strong> : Press the film carrier and the substrate (with the printed adhesive).
