Switching from regular printing to cold-foil printing online is as easy as changing a plate on the press.

Cold Foil application consists of applying a metallic layer on a printed substrate. It is basically carried out in 2 steps:

STEP 1 : Apply an adhesive to the substrate. This application can be done in register and according to a print pattern using one of the printing units of the printing company.
STEP 2 : Press the film carrier and the substrate (with the printed adhesive). The sheet will release from the backing onto the substrate where the decal was printed.
