Founded in Bonn, Germany in 1951, it is a third generation family business, led by Sebastian Schwegmann.
Since its founding, Bernd Schwegmann GmbH & Co. KG has developed specialty chemicals that are used throughout the world in the manufacture of inks and varnishes and in the printing industry.
Its state-of-the-art manufacturing plant has been located in Grafschaft-Gelsdorf since 1994, a city about 20 km south-west of Bonn. The main marketing areas for our products are Germany, Europe and Asia. Its main clients include major manufacturers of inks and varnishes, as well as renowned printing groups and printers.

Its quality management system was already established at Bernd Schwegmann GmbH & Co. KG more than 25 years ago and is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001: 2015.
